What is your DOA policy?
We offer a Dead on Arrival policy which covers the corals you're purchasing. Thankfully with our shipping methods this is highly unlikely - however to cover both parties if they arrived dead we would need clear photographic evidence within the first hour of the corals arriving. You have to be in to accept the corals on the first delivery attempt - We use a signed for service pre 1pm. It is your responsibility to be there to accept corals. Not being in to receive voids the DOA policy. Assuming an issue - Photographs would need to be sent to us in the unopened packaging.
Once the corals are opened and into your tank i no longer cover them as i can't be held accountable for your system, parameters and setups. Assuming you meet the above disclaimer for DOA i can offer refund (minus the postage) or offer a replacement where stocks allow - again postage would have to be paid.
When do you ship?
We can be flexible around shipping - normally Mon-Wed is ideal. Posting on a Friday means there is a risk that the corals aren't delivered on time and sit in the mail center. We can however accommodate if required.
Corals will be posted when the weather permits - extreme temps (either hot or cold may delay your order)
Any order placed with ReefGeeksUK will be followed up with some communication to the customer. We need to mutually agree a shipping day to ensure you are in. Once confirmed corals will be posted and a tracking number provided.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment is currently via Paypal.
How are the corals shipped?
We take extreme care when shipping corals to our customers. All corals will be sent via insulated polybox. A heat pack will be provided if required (for Zoas <12 degrees)
All corals are sent in sealed watertight containers. Packing material is used to ensure no movement inside the parcel. Correct labels for posting are applied and Fragile tape is used to close the package.
What postal service do you use
We can use a few. Currently we use Royal Mail Next day before 1pm.
